The APG Board of Directors has recently committed to a $10,000 donation to the American Battlefield Trust (ABT)for the preservation of 18 acres of core battlefield property on Seminary Ridge at Gettysburg, PA. For more information check out the ABT’s project page. Our goal is to raise the $10,000 NLT 31 Dec 2018. We are calling our effort The Gettysburg Project 2018. We have several ideas in mind to help us reach our goal.
Our first effort will be the auction of a very generous gift by Mr C Noel Walker, of an original painting by Don Troiani. The 20 x 14 gouche on Bristol Board painting is titled, Brunswick Prinz Frederich Regiment Officer 1777. The auction will take place on eBay some time in the next few months. We’ll announce when it will begin.
Other plans include: A raffle of a Keith Rocco giclée, a silent auction of painted figures at a future show, and a new Rev War figure kit for the APG Store.
