Product Details

This is a demi round, or relief, of an Oneida Indian as he might have appeared during the Battle of Saratoga in 1777. The Oneidas were allied to the Patriot's during the American War of Independence and took part in that campaign.

The distinctive head gear was given the Oneidas by General Gates as a way to distinguish them from other tribes on the battlefield..

This relief was sculpted by Gary Dombrowski and box art painted by Bob Langenberg. A huge thanks to both of the for their contributions.

All profits from the sale of this piece goes to historical preservation.
