Since it’s inception the APG has donated funds ranging in amount of $1200 to $8000 to the following:

Palmetto Conservation Foundation, SC for the Preservation of the 1780 Camden Battlefield, Camden, SC

Wisconsin Veterans Museum for the preservation of the uniform of LtCol Lucius Fairchild, 2nd Wisconsin, and the slouch hat of Major Frederick Winkler 26th Wisconsin

Fraunces Tavern, NYC. For the restoration of the painting, News from Yorktown

The National Museum of the Marine Corps Quantico, VA for preservation of 5 blades belonging to famous Marines of the 19th century.

Alabama Achieves for the preservation of the colors of the 5th Alabama BN captured Gettysburg 3, July 1863 during the Pickett/ Pettigrew Charge.

Gettysburg National Battlefield Park Visitors Center/Museum for the preservation of the colors of the 149th Pennsylvania carried during the Battle of Gettsyburg.

Gettysburg National Battlefield Park Visitors Center/Museum for the preservation of the uniform of Capt Isaac Nicholls 124th NY KIA 2 July 1863 at the Devils Den.

Warren County Rifles Museum, Front Royal, VA. Preservation of the handmade colors of the 6th Virginia Cavalry.

Stratford Hall, VA. Home of the Lee’s. A donation to fund the preservation and restoration of the original Terms of Surrender from Gen US Grant to Gen RE Lee 9 April 1865.

Louisiana State Museum for the preservation of the uniform coat of LtCol William Hamilton 3rd US Rifle Regt. War of 1812

Museum of the American Civil War. (Formerly the Museum of the Confederacy). A donation to fund the preservation and restoration of the doll “Nina” used to smuggle medicine during the Civil War.

The Museum of the Revolution. Donations to conserve a collection of swords and the “Monmouth” flag currently on exhibit in the museum.

As an ongoing project the APG has and will continue to make sizable donations to: The Civil War Trust, Campaign 1776, and the Princeton Battlefield Society, for preservation of battlefield properties.
