Dr. Yahnke presents APG’s donation check in the amount of $10,000 to The Museum of The American Revolution, at the MFCA Show, May,2013.
The APG notes with sadness the passing of Dr. David Yahnke, friend, patron, and supporter, on October 16, 2017, in Farmington MO.  An Eagle Scout and Vietnam Veteran, Dr. Yahnke was an exemplary physician, scratch golfer, community leader, and patron of the arts.  He carried a life-long interest in military history into military miniatures, of which he was an avid collector.

An early endorser of the APG’s mission, Dr. Yahnke was a presence at all of APG’s events and fundraisers.  He contributed money, donated time, participated in tours, and was an avid bidder during our figure auctions — all in the interest of promoting the APG’s projects.

Among the host of patrons and advisors critical to the APG’s success, Dave Yahnke stands in the top tier.  We mourn his passing, but mostly we celebrate his life.

  1. Thank you for your kind words about my father. He will truly be missed by my family. The APG meant a lot to him.
