APG Donates to Preserve More Historic Hallowed Ground

The APG has voted to donate $1000 to help the ABT preserve property at these 2 very historic locations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3Dl67sPEOQ

Brandy Station was the largest cavalry battle on this continent and Cedar Mountain was iconic with Jackson grabbing a standard and rallying his men with his sword rusted in its scabbard. I’ve stood where Jackson rallied his men and walked the slope of Fleetwood Heights at Brandy Station. I have personally walked all the ground of both locations and being able to contribute to its preservation is extremely satisfying. These 2 parcels add to preserving all of the battlefields and not portions interspersed with warehouses, gas stations, and nail parlors. Not only historical hallowed ground, it s scenic and a nice gap in the spreading development of Culpepper Co. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and chances of it coming back is very, very slim.

Thanks for your support.
