I would like to announce the Artist Preservation Group Annual Membership Drive started today.
This year more than ever we need your support. With the coming in 2025 of the 250th Anniversary of the start of our War for Independence we are in the planning stages for some very meaningful projects for this year and next. This summer we committed to the Gettysburg National Military Park for the restoration and preservation of some Civil War Diaries that they would like to exhibit. And I expect more of our support will be going to Battlefield Preservation.
If you aren’t already a member please join us. If you are a member than your renewal will help keep up our fight, yours and mine, to protect or history.
At the end of the drive we will be holding a raffle for some great prizes. The 1st prize this year will be this fantastic giclee by Keith Rocco titled ” They Were Ready for Us.” The VMI Guns and the Union Cavalry Charge at the Battle of New Market. This 33 x 20 inch giclee is a limited edition number 40/300 donated to us by the Shenandoah Valley Battlefield Foundation.
Each new member or renewal, will get a chance in the raffle for one of a number of prizes. I will be announcing more prizes throughout the drive.
