The APG will once again hold an exhibit of Civil War related miniatures at the Gettysburg Visitor Center this Aug. Dates are Sat 24 and Sun 25 Aug.
The event is free to exhibitors. We do encourage donations to the APG. This will help us offset and expenses we incur. To exhibit please fill out the attached form and email to usmcmks@aol.com. For planning purposes we must receive your form NLT 10 Aug 2024.
Set up will be from 4 pm to 5pm on Friday 23 Aug and from 8-9 on Sat 24 Aug. The exhibit will end at 4pm on Sunday 25 Aug. We are obligated to keep miniatures on exhibit from 9am Sat – 4 pm on Sun.
Table clothes will be provided. Unlike last year there is no space limitation for your exhibit. However, if you are planning on using more than 18-24 inch frontage, please let us know in advance.
Our project this year is the conservation of several diaries belonging to soldiers from the Civil War. Arrangements are being made for exhibitors to view the diaries sometime during the event.
We haven’t been able to secure any hotel rooms for the event. The time of year and our relatively small group made it hard to get anything. If you are in need of lodging I would suggest you goggle Gettysburg Hotels and see what’s available. I would do it quickly as they quicky fill up that time of year.
